(S)-3-Methyl-2-oxazolidinone is a chiral oxazolidinone derivative with the molecular formula C₄H₇NO₂ and a molecular weight of 101.10 g/mol. This colorless to pale yellow clear liquid is a valuable chiral auxiliary for asymmetric synthesis, featuring an oxazolidinone ring with a methyl substituent at the 3-position and a stereocenter at the 4-position (or 5-position depending on numbering). Synthetic Process
