Spermidine Anti-Aging

Spermidine is a naturally occurring polyamine compound first isolated from human semen in 1678. Its chemical name is N-(3-aminopropyl)-1,4-butanediamine, with the molecular formula C₇H₁₉N₃, belonging to the triamine class of compounds. Spermidine is widely distributed throughout all organisms. In humans, it can be synthesized by the gut microbiota and also obtained through dietary intake. Foods rich in spermidine include aged cheeses, legumes, whole grains, mushrooms, broccoli, and nuts.
