【Description】
Glycerin, chemically named 1,2,3-Propanetriol (Propane-1,2,3-triol), is the simplest trihydric alcohol. At room temperature, it appears as a colorless, clear viscous liquid, odorless with a sweet taste. It is highly hygroscopic and is freely miscible with water and ethanol. Glycerin is an important organic chemical raw material widely found in animal and vegetable oils and fats. It can be obtained through saponification of natural oils or synthesis from propylene. Its INCI name is GLYCERIN (ID: 1077).

【Main Applications】
