    Hydrobromic Acid cas 10035-10-6

    Description of Hydrobromic acid :

Hydrogen bromide (chemical formula: HBr) is an aqueous solution of hydrogen bromide that emits slight smoke. Molecular weight 80.92, gas relative density 3.5; Liquid relative density 2.77 (-67 ℃); HBr 47% aqueous solution 1.49. Melting point -88.5 ℃, boiling point -67.0 ℃. Easily soluble in organic solvents such as chlorobenzene and diethylmethane. It can be miscible with water, alcohol, and acetic acid. Exposed to the air and sunlight, due to bromine dissociation, the color gradually darkens. Strong acidity, with a pungent taste similar to hydrochloric acid.
