  • Description

As a typical strong inorganic acid, hydrobromic acid has core applications spanning pharmaceutical synthesis, chemical reagents, and industrial purification. In the pharmaceutical sector, it serves as a key raw material for bromination reactions in the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), playing a role in the synthesis of antibiotics, sedatives, and brominated organic intermediates. It can efficiently carry out reactions such as the bromination of hydrocarbons and the cleavage of ethers, thereby improving drug purity and yield; In the chemical reagent industry, it is used for laboratory analysis and metal ion detection, enabling the determination of element concentrations such as sulfur and selenium. In industrial applications, it is used for acid pickling of metal surfaces to remove oxidation layers and rust from steel and copper components, and can also be used to prepare bromides, flame retardants, and corrosion inhibitors for oilfield drilling. In organic synthesis, it often replaces liquid bromine, offering mild and controllable reaction conditions that reduce byproduct formation; In the electronics industry, it is used for etching and cleaning semiconductor wafers. It also serves as a deoxygenating agent in water treatment and an auxiliary agent in leather tanning. With its high versatility, it is suitable for multiple industrial chains, including fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and metallurgy. As a fundamental raw material in the bromine chemical industry, it enjoys stable market demand. Downstream industries have clear requirements for purity grading: high-purity grades are exclusively supplied to the pharmaceutical and electronics sectors, while industrial-grade products are used in basic chemical processing.

The product strictly complies with the GB/T 2961-2014 national standard, accompanied by a complete set of MSDS, commodity inspection reports, and hazardous packaging certificates, and meets EU REACH import and export requirements. Standard packaging includes 200 kg galvanized closed-top steel drums and 1,000 L IBC containers. For large volumes, bulk transport via tank containers is available. Storing and transporting the product in a sealed, light-protected environment effectively delays oxidation and discoloration. Supply is stable and ample, supporting full-container and consolidated shipments for international trade, and meeting global chemical procurement and custom fine chemical production needs.
