*Moisture retention function

Hydrolyzed Keratin can interact with skin keratin. Natural keratin can smooth, firm and moisturize the skin, especially the skin stratum corneum. After applying 3ml keratin solution in the morning and evening, skin moisture is significantly increased. The main cross-linked structure of keratin is cysteine. Disulfide bonds can be opened by enzymatic hydrolysis. Its abundant cysteine and other amino acids have great effect on repairing,moisturizing and conditioning the skin, making the stratum corneum smooth and flexible.

*Anti-oxidant effect

Hydrolyzed Keratin is a natural anti-oxidant. Oxidative stress is considered to be the main cause of skin aging. Keratin has been shown to promote anti-oxidant activity in the body, enhance skin defense, increase the production of peroxide dismutase(SOD) and promote glutathione production. These two enzymes are important part of the body cell antagonism to oxidative stress.

*Eliminate free radicals

Cysteine mercaptocyls have anti-oxidant properties and are resistant to free radicals in the body. Its functional groups, such as carboxyl group and hydroxyl group, have good binding effects on pigments and heavy metals to avoid hair damage by copper ions in domestic water.

*Enhance hair elasticity

Soak the damaged hair in Hydrolyzed Keratin solution of different concentration at a 1:50 bath ratio (hair/keratin solution). Take out after 30 mins and make it dry overnight. Put in dryer to balance for 24h, measure the elasticity on YG(B)001A electronic single fiber strength machine.

The damaged hair is rough and the gloss is poor. After being treated with keratin solution, cysteine residues in the solution are partially oxidized and will reform disulfide cross-linking. It can form a transparent film of certain elasticity and strength on hair surface. It can also repair the damaged hair scales, making hair smooth and glossy. Hair elasticity is improved.
