Product Overview
1,2-Propanediol (propylene glycol, PG) is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid that is miscible with water, ethanol, and many organic solvents. Synthetic Process
Propylene glycol is produced industrially by the hydration of propylene oxide, typically at elevated temperature and pressure, followed by distillation and purification to achieve high purity grades.
