Enzalutamide (CAS 915087-33-1), also known as MDV3100, is an orally active, non-steroidal androgen receptor (AR) antagonist with the molecular formula C₂₁H₁₆F₄N₄O₂S and a molecular weight of 464.44 g/mol . The compound is chemically designated as 4-{3-[4-cyano-3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-5,5-dimethyl-4-oxo-2-sulfanylideneimidazolidin-1-yl}-2-fluoro-N-methylbenzamide . It is a second-generation AR antagonist developed for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC)
