Lusutrombopag (CAS 1110766-97-6), also known as S-888711 or Mulpleta, is an orally bioavailable, small-molecule thrombopoietin (TPO) receptor agonist with the molecular formula C₂₉H₃₂Cl₂N₂O₅S and a molecular weight of 591.55 g/mol . The compound is chemically designated as (2E)-3-{2,6-dichloro-4-[(4-{3-[(1S)-1-(hexyloxy)ethyl]-2-methoxyphenyl}-1,3-thiazol-2-yl)carbamoyl]phenyl}-2-methylprop-2-enoic acid . It features a thiazole core linked to a substituted methoxyphenyl group and a dichloro-substituted acrylamide moiety. Lusutrombopag is developed for the treatment of thrombocytopenia in adult patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) who are scheduled to undergo elective invasive procedures
