Safety Information

Bulk: A sample stored at 60 °C for 30 days showed no decomposition (UV, HPLC). Solution: A solution in 5% methanol (0.5 mg/mL) showed no decomposition after 9 days (UV). A solution in 5% dimethylacetamide /pH 4 acetate buffer showed no decomposition after 48 hours(HPLC).

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 2-naphthylamine-6-(β-sulfate ethylsulfone)-1-sulfonic acid, H acid and benzoyl chloride as raw materials, first condense benzoyl chloride with H acid, and then condense 2-naphthylamine- 6-(β-sulfate ethyl sulfone)-1-sulfonic acid is diazotized and coupled with the aforementioned condensation product to obtain a product. After salting out, filtering and drying, the finished product is obtained.

Uses

Reactive Red KN-3B is used for the printing and dyeing of fiber fibers, wool and silk. It is suitable for a variety of dyeing methods, such as exhaust dyeing method, pad dyeing method and cold rolling pile method. It is also used for printing, especially for two-phase printing. It has excellent discharge performance and good dyeing fastness. Usually bright blue and red.
