Methods of Manufacturing

In the double decomposition method, stannous chloride and sodium pyrophosphate are respectively dissolved in water, and an appropriate amount of activated carbon is added for decolorization and filtration to obtain a clean solution. Then adjust the two solutions to a certain concentration by adding water respectively. The sodium pyrophosphate solution was first added to the reactor, and the stannous chloride solution was slowly added with stirring to carry out the metathesis reaction. Control the end point of the reaction without excessive stannous chloride. A tin pyrophosphate precipitate is formed. After standing, the supernatant is removed, water is added and washed with stirring, and then the precipitate is left to stand, the supernatant is removed and repeated several times to remove most of the sodium chloride. Then put the precipitate into a centrifugal separator for dehydration, and wash it with clean water until it is free of chloride ions, and dry it to obtain a finished product of tin pyrophosphate. Its Na4P2O7+2SnCl2→Sn2P2O7+4NaC1

Tin(II) Pyrophosphate inhibit the formation of volatile sulphur compounds (VSC).
