The preparation method is to add 2, 4-dichlorophenol, caustic soda, catalyst, solvent and bromopropyne into the reaction kettle, start stirring, heat up to a certain temperature and react for several hours. After the reaction is over, steam out the remaining Bromopropyne and a small amount of solvent are cooled to room temperature, filtered, and the filtrate is desolvated to obtain the product.
2,4-Dichlorophenylpropynyl ether is an intermediate of the herbicide propynyl oxadiazone.
