Acetofenate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Preparation of 2, 2, 2-trichloro-1-(3, 4-dichlorophenyl)ethanol complex in the presence of aluminum trichloride by reacting o-dichlorobenzene with trichloroacetaldehyde at a temperature of 10~ 20℃, time 3.8h, the ratio is o-dichlorobenzene: trichloroacetaldehyde: aluminum trichloride=7:1:1.1, to obtain 2, 2, 2-trichloro-1-(3, 4-bis Chlorophenyl) ethanol complex. In the presence of sulfuric acid and phosphorus trichloride, the 2, 2, 2-trichloro-1-(3, 4-dichlorophenyl)ethanol complex synthesized by the previous reaction is directly combined with acetic acid (Acetic anhydride) Synthesize trichloropyridin. The reaction temperature is 4~8℃, the reaction time is 1.5h, the ratio of raw materials is chloroacetaldehyde: acetic anhydride=1:0.9 (acetic anhydride method), chloroacetaldehyde: acetic acid: phosphorus trichloride: sulfuric acid=1:1.5 :0.58:0.51 (Acetic acid method) (average mol) In the intermediate test under similar process conditions, the average yield is 82.7%, and the literature report can reach 92%.

Uses

Hygienic medicine, used to control flies, mosquitoes, cloth moths and other pests
