158g of 2-nitro-1-phenyl-1, 3-propanediol sodium salt is dissolved in glacial acetic acid, and 304mL of acetyl chloride is added dropwise, and the reaction is stirred at 40°C for 14h.

Uses

Nitroaromatic fungicide with contact action. Mainly used for foliar spray of apple and grape powdery mildew and seed treatment of cereal crops (corn, rice). The sterilization mechanism is to inhibit the RNA synthesis of bacteria.
