2,6-Dichloro-3-fluoropyridine Use and Manufacturing

2, 6-Dichloro-3-fluoropyridine (1500 mg, 9.04 mmol) in methylamine in THE (2M) was reacted at 80 C. for 16 h. The solvent was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the crude compound, which was purified by FFS (petroleum ether/ethyl acetate=100:0 to petroleum ether/ethyl acetate=60:40). The desired fractions were collected and the solvent was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the product as a colorless oil (200 mg, 13.8%). LCMS (ESI) m/z M+1: 161.1. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CHLOROFORM-d) delta ppm 3.00 (d, J=5.07 Hz, 3H), 4.68 (br s, 1H), 6.43 (dd, J=8.05, 2.76 Hz, 1H), 7.02 (dd, J=10.25, 8.05 Hz, 1H).
