(900 mg, 5.49 mmol), ethyl difluoroacetate (2.23) g, 11.0mmol)A mixture of potassium carbonate (1.52 g, 11.0 mmol) in N, N-dimethylformamide (20 mL) was stirred at 40 C for 5 hours. The reaction solution was cooled to room temperature and diluted with water (10 mL).Extraction with ethyl acetate (20 mL X 2 ), The organic phase was dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and filtered.The filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was purified eluting with flash column ( petroleum ether / ethyl acetate = 10/1)Purification afforded 2, 6-dichloro-4-(difluoromethoxy)pyridine (1.0 g, 85%) as a colourless oil.Step 1: Synthesis of 2, 6-dichloro-4-(difluoromethoxy)pyridine (0385) 720 mg (5.21 mmol) of potassium carbonate were added at room temperature to a mixed solution of 600 mg (3.66 mmol) of
