Dimethyl N-cyanodithioiminocarbonate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Lime nitrogen reacts with carbon disulfide to obtain dithiocalcium salt. After centrifugal separation of the residue, the dithiocalcium salt solution and dimethyl sulfate undergo methyl esterification reaction to obtain cyanimide dithiocarbonate dimethyl. After separating and removing calcium sulfate and steaming out low-boiling substances, the finished product is obtained. Industrial product content ≥90% raw material consumption quota: lime nitrogen (containing N20%) 1550kg/t, carbon disulfide 950kg/t, dimethyl sulfate (98%) 2200kg/t.

Used as the main intermediate for the manufacture of digestive tract drug cimetidine
