2,5-DICHLORO-3-METHYLPYRIDINE Use and Manufacturing
Add 11g (0.1mol) of dichloroacetonitrile and 14g (0.2mol) of methacrolein into 50ml of propionitrile solvent, 200mg of cuprous chloride and 200mg of tri-n-butyl phosphorus as catalysts, and place them in a Cartridge tube, 130 Heat at ℃ for 6h, cool to room temperature, remove the solvent and unreacted raw materials in vacuum, distill under reduced pressure at 100-120℃/5mmHg to obtain a light yellow liquid and slowly crystallize, wash with n-hexane and dry to obtain 2, 3-dichloro-5 -Picoline 108g, yield 40%, mp. 42～45℃.
