Methods of Manufacturing

Using crotonaldehyde as raw material, it can be prepared by oxidation with air or oxygen in the presence of a mixture of copper acetate-cobalt acetate as a catalyst. The technological process has continuous method and batch method. In addition, a small amount of crotonic acid can be obtained by dry distillation of wood, and it can also be prepared by condensation of acetaldehyde and malonic acid in the experiment.
