2'-deamino-2'-hydroxyneamine is an amino cyclitol glycoside that is 2-deoxystreptamine in which the pro-R hydroxy group is substituted by a 6-amino-6-deoxy-alpha-D-glucosyl residue. It has a role as an antimicrobial agent. It derives from a 2-deoxystreptamine. It is a conjugate acid of a 2'-deamino-2'-hydroxyneamine(3+).
