Basic Yellow 21 Use and Manufacturing
Take ω-aldehyde and 2-methylindoline as raw materials, condense the two in the presence of phosphorus oxychloride to obtain the product.
Cationic Yellow 7GLL is mainly used for dyeing acrylic fibers, with stable color (greener) and good color fastness. It is also used for dyeing diacetate fiber and silk, and can be used for direct printing of acrylic dialdehyde fiber and silk fabric. It is also used to dye nylon blends. Nylon is rarely stained. It forms three primary colors with cationic red GTL and cationic blue 5GL, which can be dyed in medium to deep colors.
