Methods of Manufacturing

Take p-aminobenzene sulfonic acid, 2-methoxy-5-methylaniline and N-phenyl J acid as raw materials. First, diazotize the p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid and couple with α-methoxy-5-methylaniline, then diazotize the coupling product and couple with N-phenyl J acid to obtain the product. After salting out, filtering, drying and crushing, the finished product is obtained.

Uses

Direct Violet B can be used for dyeing cotton and viscose fibers. It has good levelness and high dyeing rate, but the dyeing fastness is not good. Therefore more used for coloring paper.
