Methylcarbamoyl chloride Use and Manufacturing
Methylcarbamoyl chloride is produced by the reaction of methylamine and phosgene. Reaction equation: CH3NH2+COCl2→CH3NHCOCl vaporizes 40% methylamine aqueous solution, and after drying, it is mixed with phosgene at a ratio of 1:1.3 (volume), methylamine at 4m3/h, phosgene at 8.6m3/h (content 60%~70%) enter the preheater for preheating respectively, the preheating temperature of methylamine is controlled at 220~260℃, and the phosgene is controlled at 220~240℃. The two preheated gases enter the venturi tube and are synthesized at 280-300°C to obtain the gas methylcarbamoyl chloride. Then use carbon tetrachloride (or chlorobenzene solution) to cyclically absorb at 0-20°C to obtain about 10% methylcarbamoyl chloride carbon tetrachloride (or chlorobenzene) solution, or cool to a liquid state below 35-40°C Finished product.
Intermediate of pesticide carbamate insecticide and herbicide.
