2-Nitrobenzenesulfenyl chloride Use and Manufacturing
The dry chlorine gas is passed into a mixture of disulfide-2, 2-bis(nitrobenzene), carbon tetrachloride and a little iodine, and the temperature is maintained at 50-60℃. The reaction solution is cooled to 5°C, and crystallizes out to obtain o-nitrobenzene sulfur chloride with a yield of 61-71%.
