MethylBromopyruvate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation method is that bromine is slowly added dropwise to the solution of methyl pyruvate and its solvent at 65° C., and continuously stirred, and the dropping time is longer than 45 minutes, to obtain methyl 3-bromopyruvate, which is processed to obtain the product. It can also be esterified with 3-bromopyruvate and methanol in the presence of a catalyst to generate methyl 3-bromopyruvate.

Uses

Used as pharmaceutical intermediates and pharmaceutical raw materials
