2,4-Dinitrobenzenesulfonic acid Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

It is obtained by sulfonation of 2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzene. Add 1100L of water to the sulfonation pot, heat it to 50°C, and add 119kg of light magnesium oxide under rapid stirring. Stir for a while and then add 750kg of molten 2, 4-dinitrochlorobenzene, continue heating to 65°C, add 462kg of sodium bisulfite solution (with a concentration of 4.5-5N) within 4h. After the reaction was completed, it was cooled to 55°C. Add hydrochloric acid for acidification, then add 35kg of refined salt, cool to 20°C, stand still and filter to obtain the product. The commodity is generally in the form of sodium 2, 4-dinitrobenzene sulfonate with the CAS number [885-62-1].
