Description

Essential oil; strong aromatic odor; spicy taste. Soluble in alcohol. Chief known constituents: phellandrene, valeric acid. Combustible. Angelica seed oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh seed of Angelica archangelica L. It has a sweeter and more delicate aroma than the root oil. The essential seed oil has a bitter, aromatic flavor. Methods of Manufacturing

It is obtained by steam distillation of the dry and slender roots of Angelica archangelica (Angelica archangelica or Archangelica officinalis). The yield is 0.35% to 1.0% (the yield of fresh food is 0.1% to 0.3%). Mainly produced in Europe and the United States and other places.

Uses

spices. Mainly used to prepare alcohol flavors.
