Description

white to off-white powder

DryPowder

Cystine is a sulfur-containing amino acid obtained by the oxidation of two cysteine molecules which are then linked via a disulfide bond. It has a role as a human metabolite and a mouse metabolite. It is an organic disulfide, a sulfur-containing amino acid and a cysteine derivative. It is a tautomer of a cystine zwitterion.|A covalently linked dimeric nonessential amino acid formed by the oxidation of CYSTEINE. Two molecules of cysteine are joined together by a disulfide bridge to form cystine.
