Polyisobutylene Use and Manufacturing

It is mainly used in many fields such as petroleum additives and adhesives. Used to manufacture pressure sensitive adhesives and sealants. It can also be used as a thickener and other materials to improve adhesion, flexibility, aging resistance, air tightness and electrical insulation. It is also used to manufacture wires and cables, plasticizers, etc. Chewing gum base.

Drug Function and Efficacy

After long-term use, abruptly stopping the use of tobacco products will lead to withdrawal syndrome, including four or more of the following symptoms: irritability or depression, insomnia, irritability, frustration or worry, anxiety, inattention, restlessness or impatience, slow heart rate, appetite or weight gain, and craving for cigarettes, which are confirmed as clinically relevant symptoms and are also an important part of the withdrawal syndrome during nicotine withdrawal. Ingredients	Each tablet of this product contains 24.9 mg of nicotine and releases 10 mg of nicotine in 16 hours. The auxiliary materials are: beige film (pigment, aluminum and polyester), polyisobutylene, polybutylene, polyester, protective film (siliconized polyester).
Indication	Smoking (but not nicotine) is associated with increased activity of CYP1A2. After smoking cessation, the clearance of some drugs metabolized by CYP1A2 may be reduced, which may lead to increased plasma concentrations of these drugs. For drugs with a narrow therapeutic window, such as theophylline, tacrine, clomipramine, or ropinirol, this increase in plasma concentration may have significant clinical significance. The plasma concentrations of some drugs metabolized by CYP1A2, such as imipramine, olanzapine, clomipramine, and fluvoxamine, may also increase after smoking cessation, although there are no data to support this. However, the clinical significance of the effects on the plasma concentrations of these drugs is unclear.
