Methods of Manufacturing

The preparation of this product includes five process steps: the condensation of lauryl alcohol and ethylene oxide, sulfation of the condensation product, neutralization, pressure filtration to remove residues, and filtrate distillation and dealcoholization. Put 452 kg of lauryl alcohol (hydroxyl value 275-320) into the reactor, and then put 5 kg of potassium hydroxide into the reduction tank, prepare a 50% aqueous solution, and put it into the reactor. Vacuum, control the vacuum degree at 13.3kPa, and gradually increase the temperature to about 120°C for dehydration. After the dehydration is completed, the air is replaced with nitrogen, the air is driven out and the temperature is raised to 140-150°C, the stirring is started, and 324kg of ethylene oxide is introduced at 3 kPa. Then the kettle temperature was gradually reduced to about 5°C. Add sulfuric acid for acidification reaction, and neutralize it with caustic soda and alcohol solution after 1 hour. After neutralization, the filter residue is removed by pressure filtration, and the filtrate is dealcoholized to obtain the finished product.

Uses

This product is used as a component of vinylon oil and other synthetic fiber oils in the textile industry. It can also be used as a raw material for liquid synthetic detergents, and has the advantages of good diffusion and strong washing effect. It is used in daily chemical industries such as liquid washing, meal washing, shampoo, bath washing, etc. It is also used in textile, paper, leather, machinery, oil mining and other industries
