Hydrazinecarboxaldehyde Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

From the reaction of ethyl formate and hydrazine hydrate. Add 85% hydrazine hydrate carefully to the solution of ethyl formate and 95% ethanol, and stir for 10 min. When the reaction has slowed down, the reaction solution is heated to reflux for 18 hours, and most of the water and ethanol are evaporated under reduced pressure to obtain a crude syrup, which is further refined to obtain a finished formyl hydrazide.
