2-naphthol orange
Acid Orange 7 Use and Manufacturing
Using p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid and 2-naphthol as raw materials, diazotizing p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid and coupling with 2-naphthol to obtain the product. The finished product is obtained by salting out, filtering, drying and crushing. . First, mix 15% p-aminobenzene sulfonic acid solution (containing 173kg p-aminobenzene sulfonic acid) and 30% sodium nitrite solution (containing NaNO2 69kg) uniformly, add 600L water and 264kg hydrochloric acid (30%) into the diazonium pot, Add ice to control the temperature to 10-15°C, add the above mixed solution within 10 minutes, continue to stir for 30 minutes, to obtain the diazonium liquid. Add 400L of water, 141.8kg of 2-naphthol and 143kg of 30% liquid caustic soda into the coupling pot, heat to 45-50℃, stir to dissolve, and cool to 8℃, add 19kg of salt, and quickly add 1/2 amount of diazonium liquid . Then add 37 kg of table salt, and add another 1/2 volume of diazonium solution within 1 h, continue to stir for 1 h, add 75 kg of salt, and continue stirring to the end of the coupling. Filter and dry to obtain the product.
Mainly used for dyeing silk and wool fabrics, but also for dyeing leather and paper. Nylon can be dyed in formic acid bath. This product can be directly printed on wool, silk and nylon, and can also be used as indicator agent and biological coloring. Acid-base indicator, pH change range 7.4 (amber) ~ 8.6 (orange); 10.2 (orange) ~ 11.8 (red); extraction and photometric determination of cationic surfactants; biological stains
