Ferrous oxalate dihydrate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

It is derived from the reaction of ammonium oxalate and ferrous sulfate. First dissolve ammonium oxalate and ferrous sulfate crystals in water and filter. Then, the ammonium oxalate solution was added to the ferrous sulfate solution and continuously stirred in the stainless steel reaction pot to generate a pale yellow ferrous oxalate precipitate. Let stand for 8-10 hours, separate the supernatant liquid, centrifuge the ferrous oxalate slurry, wash with hot water, and dry at 85-95°C to be the finished product. Each ton of product consumes 800kg of ammonium oxalate (content 450-500g/L) and 1560kg of ferrous sulfate (95%). Uses: Used as a photographic developer, used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Uses

Used as analytical reagent and developer, used as a new battery material for the production of lithium ferrous phosphate, also used in the pharmaceutical industry
