Methods of Manufacturing

Taking 4, 10-dibromoanthanthrone (4, 10-dibromoanthanthrone, C.I.59300) and 1-amino-4-benzamidoanthraquinone as raw materials, the product is obtained by condensing the two in the presence of a copper catalyst. After filtration, neutralization, washing and drying, the finished product is obtained.

Uses

Reduced gray BG is mainly used for the dyeing of cotton fibers and the printing of cotton cloth. The level dyeing is very good and the affinity is medium. Also suitable for dyeing silk, viscose fiber, viscose cotton blended fabric. The level dyeability of vinylon and vinylon is slightly worse. It can also be used for hot-melt dyeing of polyester-cotton fabrics. It is often used in combination with reduced blue BCS, reduced yellow GCN, reduced brown G, reduced brown GG, reduced brown BR, etc.
