Aminoguanidine carbonate Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Lime nitrogen is dissolved in water to generate calcium cyanide hydrogen, which is acidified to obtain cyanamide, which reacts with hydrazine hydrate and adds ammonium bicarbonate to form a salt to obtain the product. It can also be prepared by reacting cyanamide with hydrazine sulfate and then adding sodium bicarbonate to form a salt.

Uses

The intermediate of amidinohydrazone is also used in the synthesis of dyes and pesticides.
