Methods of Manufacturing

Take 4-chloro-2, 5-xylyl mercaptoacetic acid as a raw material, close the ring with chlorosulfonic acid and oxidize the product to obtain the product.

Uses

Reduced Red Violet RRN is similar in performance to Reduced Violet RH (CI73385) and is a light brittle dye. Mainly used for cotton fiber dyeing and cotton cloth printing, with good affinity and level dyeing. Used for dyeing silk, even dyeing and affinity. Also suitable for dyeing wool, nylon and vinylon. It can also be used in combination with bromine indigo and reduced brown RRD to dye black, and can also be used in combination with reduced bright pink R, orange RF, and scarlet GGN.
