Drug Function and Efficacy

This product has no anti-tumor activity in vitro. When it enters the body, it is first converted into aldophosphamide by microsomal functional oxidase in the liver. However, aldophosphamide is unstable and decomposes into phosphoramide nitrogen mustard and acrolein in tumor cells. Phosphoramide nitrogen mustard has cytotoxic effects on tumor cells. Cyclophosphamide is a bifunctional alkylating agent and a non-specific drug for the cell cycle. It can interfere with the functions of DNA and PNA, especially the former, as it cross-links with DNA.

Indication	1. Cyclophosphamide can increase serum uric acid levels. Allopurinol can increase the bone marrow toxicity of cyclophosphamide. If it is necessary to use it together, its toxic effects should be closely observed. 2. When used with high doses of barbiturates, corticosteroids, or chloramphenicol, it can increase acute toxicity. 3. When used with doxorubicin, it can increase cardiac toxicity. 4. It can inhibit cholinesterase to delay the metabolism of cocaine, prolong the effect of cocaine and increase toxicity. 5. Cyclophosphamide can reduce the concentration of pseudocholinesterase in plasma, enhance the neuromuscular blocking effect of succinylcholine, and prolong apnea.
