Direct Yellow 50 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Using 2-amino-4, 8-naphthalenedisulfonic acid, m-toluidine, and bis(trichloromethyl) carbonate (commonly known as triphosgene) as raw materials, Nitriding, coupling with m-toluidine, and then condensing the two-molecular coupling product with triphosgene to obtain the product. The finished product is obtained by salting out, filtering, drying and crushing. Add 6g 2-amino-4, 8-naphthalenedisulfonic acid, 50% excess concentrated hydrochloric acid and 50mL water into the reactor. Quickly add 1.4g sodium nitrite in 20mL aqueous solution at 14℃, stir and react for 2h, add 2.1g After coupling with m-toluidine and stirring for 1 h, add appropriate amount of sodium chloride to salt out and filter to obtain monoazo dye. Take 0.93g of the above monoazo dye, add 40mL of phosphate buffer with pH 6.0, stir to dissolve, and then add bis(trichloromethyl) carbonate (Cl3COCO2CCl3) at 30°C, the feed ratio is two (three) (Chloromethyl) carbonate: monoazo dye=0.25:1 (substance ratio), add a drop of triethylamine (catalyst), react at a constant temperature, and continuously add 10% sodium hydroxide solution to keep the pH at 6.0 , React for about 12h to the end, add salt to salt out, filter to obtain the dye. The yield is about 87%.
