Methods of Manufacturing

General procedure: To a solution of 4 (1 mmol) and triethylamine (0.1 mL, 1 mmol) in dry THF (10 mL), substituted benzoyl chloride was added dropwise. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 12h. Then water was added to the mixture which was extracted with dichloromethane. The organic phase was washed with water and brine, dried (Na2SO4), and concentrated. The obtained crude product was purified by column chromatography to give amide 6.
