Hydroxyethylhydrazine Use and Manufacturing
It is derived from the addition of ethylene oxide and hydrazine hydrate. After reacting 40% hydrazine hydrate with ethylene oxide at 65-75°C, it is concentrated under reduced pressure to obtain 2-hydroxyethylhydrazine. In some reaction examples, the temperature is controlled below 40°C, and the yield is 60-64%.
Intermediate, plant growth regulator, flowering inducer for pineapples.
