Acid Violet 17 Use and Manufacturing
Using 1-(N-ethylanilino)-m-toluenesulfonic acid [1-(N-ethylanilino)-m-toluenesulfonic acid], formaldehyde and N, N-diethylaniline as raw materials, firstly, 1-(N-ethyl Condensation of m-toluenesulfonic acid and formaldehyde, and then oxidized, and then condensed with N, N-diethylaniline, oxidized again, and converted into sodium salt; or 1-(N-ethylaniline) m-toluenesulfonic acid The product condensed with formaldehyde is oxidized with sodium dichromate in the presence of N, N-diethylaniline to obtain the product in one step. Adjust the 1-(N-ethylaniline) m-toluenesulfonic acid solution to pH 3 with 30% hydrochloric acid, add 36% formaldehyde solution, heat up to 97-98℃, keep the reaction temperature for 3-6h to the end, steam Excess formaldehyde is released and the temperature is reduced to 50-60°C. Add 30% sodium dichromate solution to the condensation solution, stir for a certain period of time, add N, N-diethylaniline, and stir at room temperature, 50°C, and 75°C for 6-12 hours to the end. Filter, add 10% refined salt (by volume) to the filtrate, salt out, filter, and dry the filter cake at 70-80℃ (approximately 24-48h), with a moisture content of <5%, to obtain finished dyes. According to other data, during the second condensation, adding a certain amount of N, N-dimethylaniline is beneficial to adjust the shade of the dye to obtain a standard commercial dye. The dosage ratio (mass) of N, N-diethylaniline and N, N-dimethylaniline is 1:4.2. It is also possible to add a certain amount of weak acid brilliant red B to adjust the shade when the dye is commercialized.
Acid Violet 4BNS is suitable for the dyeing of wool and silk and the direct printing of wool, silk, nylon and viscose fabrics. It can also be used to color leather, paper, anodized aluminum, soap, ink and food. Can also be made into pigments.
