2-Amino-5-nitropyridine Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

Derived from 2-aminopyridine nitration. At a temperature of 50°C, add 2-aminopyridine to concentrated sulfuric acid, and then add fuming nitric acid dropwise. The temperature does not exceed 50°C. Incubate at 45°C for 2 hours and stir at room temperature for 4 hours. The reaction liquid was poured into crushed ice, and ammonia water was added to adjust the pH to 6 below 5°C, and crystals were precipitated. Filter and dry. Recrystallize with water to obtain light yellow platelets, the yield is 75%
