Drug Function and Efficacy

The anti-tumor activity of cladribine is related to the activity of deoxycytidine kinase and deoxynucleotide kinase. It enters cells mainly through passive transport, is phosphorylated by deoxycytidine kinase in cells, converted into cladribine triphosphate, and incorporated into DNA molecules, hindering the repair of DNA after breakage, causing the depletion of NAD and ATP, destroying cell metabolism, and affecting cell DNA synthesis. Therefore, this product has the effect of inhibiting DNA synthesis and repair on differentiated or quiescent lymphocytes and monocytes.
