Description

Pectolinarigenin, isolated from Cirsium chanroenicum, is a dual inhibitor of COX-2/5-LOX. Anti-inflammatory activity[1]. Pectolinarigenin has potent inhibitory activities on melanogenesis[2].


Pectolinarigenin is a dimethoxyflavone that is the 6,4'-dimethyl ether derivative of scutellarein. It has a role as a plant metabolite. It is a dimethoxyflavone and a dihydroxyflavone. It derives from a scutellarein.
