SRP: At the time of review, criteria for land treatment or burial (sanitary landfill) disposal practices are subject to significant revision. Prior to implementing land disposal of waste residue (including waste sludge), consult with environmental regulatory agencies for guidance on acceptable disposal practices.

Each notification may be associated with multiple companies.
'Chloramine B' was found to present the greatest fire hazard, decomposing explosively at 185 degree C.
Chloramine B in hospital effluents was found to be <100 mg/l(1); however, chloramine B concentration and detection limit were not given. Chemical treatment of wastewater from the production of chloramine B and epoxy resins resulted in the precipitation of benzenesulfonamide(2). This suggests that chloramine B was present in the wastewater.
Toxicity
Several thousand pounds of chloramine B are produced and/or imported per year(1). It is used as an antibacterial agent(2) and as a topical antiseptic(2). Chloramine B may also be in the effluent from hospitals(3) and in wastewater from chloramine B production(4).
TERRESTRIAL FATE: Based on observed hydrolysis in laboratory water(1), chloramine B will probably also hydrolyze in moist soils; however, no information on rates in soil was found. Based on the approximate water solubility of 1 part in 20 for the trihydrate(2), chloramine B is not expected to sorb to soils and thus may leach extensively.|AQUATIC FATE: Chloramine B will hydrolyze, resulting in the formation of benzenesulfonamide(1) and hypochlorous acid. Information on hydrolysis rates was not found. Sorption to sediments is not expected to be important. No information was found on biodegradation in aquatic systems.
When placed in water at room temperature, chloramine B was found to hydrolyze to benzenesulfonamide(1) and hypochlorous acid. Information on hydrolysis rates, however, was not found.
The relatively high water solubility of chloramine B suggests that it will not bioconcentrate in aquatic organisms.(SRC)
Based on its approximate water solubility, a Koc value of 11.4 was calculated (eqns. 4-5 (1)). This low Koc value suggests that chloramine B will not sorb to soils and sediments.
Human exposure could come from the manufacture and use of chloramine B in topical antiseptics and antibacterial agents.(SRC)
Drug Information
Substances used on inanimate objects that destroy harmful microorganisms or inhibit their activity. Disinfectants are classed as complete, destroying SPORES as well as vegetative forms of microorganisms, or incomplete, destroying only vegetative forms of the organisms. They are distinguished from ANTISEPTICS, which are local anti-infective agents used on humans and other animals. Chloramine B Use and Manufacturing
PREPD VIA BENZENESULFONAMIDE: CHATTAWAY, J CHEM SOC 87, 145 (1905); CUIBAN ET AL, PHARMAZIE 13, 407 (1958).
It's a organochlorine disinfectant, and the effective chloric arrive 26-28%, the property is stable, only loss 0.1% effective chloric after airtight kept 1 year . Slightly soluble in water, and Stimulating & corrosive is small, so the efficacy is slower than hypochlorous acid. Chloramine-B is mainly used for disinfecting container of drinking water, all kind of tableware, fruits and vegetables(5ppm), aquaculture water and enamel instruments(1%). It's also can be used for cleaning breast of catt
