Methods of Manufacturing

In the cooled autoclave, add equimolar isoprene and liquid sulfur dioxide, and then add methanol and an appropriate amount of hydroquinone. Heated in airtight, reacted at 85℃ for 4h, and after cooling, the reaction mixture was decanted, decolorized by activated carbon, concentrated and crystallized, and recrystallized from methanol to obtain product 3-methyl-3-cyclobutene sulfone.
