Chrome Dark Blue Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

After diazotizing 4-chloro-o-aminophenol, coupling with chromotropic acid (namely 1, 8-dihydroxynaphthalene-3, 6 disulfonic acid), and then undergoing salting out, filtration, drying and other treatment processes to prepare the Product. The dyeing quality of this product on wool is grade 6-7 in sunlight, grade 5 in soaping, cooking and perspiration, grade 4-5 in carbonization. Raw material consumption (kg/t) 4-chloro-o-aminophenol (95.5%) 165 color-changing acid (50%) 410 sodium nitrite (96%) 80 hydrochloric acid (30%) 60 caustic soda (95%) 80 soda ash (95%) 305 calcium oxide (96%) 90

Uses

It is used for fabrics such as wool and silk, and can also be used for coloring of anodized aluminum. Good color fastness, mainly used for dyeing blue. The main disadvantage is that the reproducibility is poor, and the color of the size sample is often difficult to achieve consistency. Generally, the small sample is light and the large sample is dark. The base is more obvious when dyeing a deep and dark color. Not suitable for color matching.
