C.I. Pigment Red 49 Use and Manufacturing
This product is rarely used in organic pigments. It is often used to prepare C.I. Pigment Red 49:1 and 49:2 by one-step lakeing. The lake pigment is an important red pigment variety. Reaction equation Operation process: Add 2000L of water and hydrochloric acid in the diazonium kettle and add 346kg of Tobic acid within 10min, add 2000~3000kg of ice and add 600L of 23% sodium nitrite solution, stir for 3h to complete the reaction. At this time, the diazonium salt crystallized out and vacuum filtration, and the filter cake was beaten with 6000L water for use. Add 3000L of water to the reactor, add 300kg of β-naphthol solution and 180L of caustic soda solution, stir quickly to dissolve, and then add to 8000L of water. Add the prepared diazonium liquid to the coupling liquid within 1 h below the liquid surface, at a temperature of 15-20 ℃, and stir for 3 h after coupling to complete the reaction. Add 300kg Rock solt. After the steam is heated to boiling and kept for 0.5h, it is filtered immediately. And air-dried for 8-10h to obtain 2000-2500kg of filter cake, which can be used as lake, and dry it to obtain 640kg of dry product.
