Methods of Manufacturing

The mixed rare earth obtained by decomposing brown yttrium niobium ore contains Y20350% and CeO2 about 4%. It is fed with the rare earth nitrate solution after removing cerium. The N263-LiNO3 system is used to extract and group the yttrium-rich rare earths. After acid dissolution, N263- The heavy solvent-NH4SCN system extracts and purifies yttrium, and the grouped raffinate is yttrium-rich rare earth, which is directly concentrated, filtered and burned to prepare yttrium oxide. Y2(C2O4)3→Y2O3+3CO2+3CO

Uses

Manufacture of light source in infrared spectrometer. Gauze covers for acetylene lamps and gas lamps. Color TV tube phosphor. Zirconia refractory stabilizer. Phosphor. Many cutting-edge applications in artificial gem laser crystals, superconducting materials, and the electronics industry.
