Pigment Red 60 Use and Manufacturing

Methods of Manufacturing

The product is prepared by diazotizing anthranilic acid and coupling with R salt, and then lake-forming with Ba salt. Reaction equation Operation process Weigh 137kg of anthranilic acid and add it to 15000L of water and 275L of 5 mol/L hydrochloric acid and stir overnight. At this time, the pH value is about 2. The next day, add ice and cool to 0~5℃. And add 131L sodium nitrite solution for diazotization, the volume is 3750L. Weigh 320kg of R salt, add 2000L of water and 168kg of sodium carbonate, stir to dissolve and cool to 5°C. After adding the diazonium liquid to the diazonium salt under the liquid surface for several hours, the reaction is complete, continue stirring for 2 to 3 hours, and then proceed to lake lake.

Uses

Mainly used for coloring of printing ink, paint, alkyd resin, and also for coloring of plastic, rubber, paper and paint printing paste.
